What does kb mean?
Hi, I’m Kaylee…
and I have spent a good part of my life gaining weight, losing weight, gaining strength and muscle just to fall off the wagon and have to start all over again, and everything in between. It was a never ending roller coaster of emotion, victory and defeat. I searched for answers, and always felt like I was getting mixed messages. That’s one of the reasons I decided to take my health in my own hands and become a personal trainer. Now, it’s my passion to share my experience, both professional and personal, with anyone who is tired of ebbing and flowing in their fitness and health, to find a calm and supportive relationship with their body and their health.
That’s why I am so passionate about a body-neutral approach to fitness and wellness. Your body, regardless of it’s size or shape, deserves health and respect. As one who spent years feeling like my body needed fixing (and trust me, I felt like that regardless of what the scale said), discovering the research and data supporting that taking weight and size out of the equation resulted in better health and nutritional balance outcomes, well, there was no going back.

-10 years experience working and learning in the fitness industry
-Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor (2024)
-Trigger Point Level 1 certified (2016)
-Pre/Post Natal Fitness certified (2019)
-2019 Completed Coach Kennedy Lodato 3-Month Mentorship
But those are just things. Who I really am is a mom 2 strong and beautiful girls. I’ve been married for 11 years to my amazing husband. I love to travel; most recently having travelled to Washington, DC and Vancouver, BC. I have recently taken up Ballet, at the ripe age of 36, and I love it! My favourite sports are figure skating- I won a bronze medal in Adult Interpretive in 2017; and CFL football - Go Cats Go! I also love watching the Olympics. My favourite past times are watching movies, delving into a good book and spending quality time with my friends and family. But most of my time is spent chasing after 2 very active young girls!
